Student Membership

  • Eligibility: Open to all learners enrolled in any CPGA UK qualification.
  • Registration fee: £10
  • Annual Fee: £10 per annum (after first year).

  • Designated letters: CPGA-Apprentice

Pathway 1: Certified General Public Accountant (CGPA)

Associate Membership (AGPA)

  • Requirements:
    • Successfully complete the CGPA qualification.
    • Possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
    • Meet the annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirement.
  • Fees:
    • One-time membership fee of £150.
    • Annual fee of £50 from the second year onward.
  • Designation: Use the letters AGPA (Associate General Public Accountant).

Fellowship (FGPA)

    • Requirements:
      • Achieve at least 5 years of relevant experience.
      • Maintain a minimum of 2 years as an Associate member.
      • Fulfill the annual CPD requirement.
    • Fee: Annual fee of £75.
    • Designation: Use the letters FGPA (Fellow General Public Accountant).

Learners who successfully complete the Certified General Public Accountant (CGPA) qualification, having at least 3 years of relevant experience and fulfilling the annual Continuing professional development (CPD) requirement shall be admitted as Associate Members subject to payment of one-time fee of 150 GBP and annual fee of 50 GBP after the first year of membership. They shall be entitled to use the following designated letters:

AGPA (Associate General Public Accountant)

 

On completion of five years of relevant experience and at least after completion of two full years being admitted as APGA, the associate member shall be entitled to apply for fellowship subject to fulfilling the annual Continuing professional development (CPD) and payment of annual fee of 75 GBP. They shall be entitled to use the following designated letters:

FGPA (Fellow General Public Accountant)

Pathway 2: Certified Management & General Accountant (CMGA)

Associate Membership (AMGA)

  • Requirements:
    • Successfully complete the CMGA qualification.
    • Possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
    • Meet the annual CPD requirement.
  • Fees:
    • One-time membership fee of £150.
    • Annual fee of £50 from the second year onward.
  • Designation: Use the letters AMGA (Associate Management General Accountant).

Fellowship (FMGA)

    • Requirements:
      • Accumulate at least 5 years of relevant experience.
      • Maintain a minimum of 2 years as an Associate member.
      • Fulfill the annual CPD requirement.

    • Designation: Use the letters FMGA (Fellow Management General Accountant).
